ARC Industries

ARC Industries or Adult Rehabilitative Centre is a program of Community Living Guelph Wellington. ARC Industries provides employment training and support to approximately one hundred and twenty five people who have an intellectual disability. The aim of the programs offered at ARC Industries is to encourage each participant to strive to attain their best possible level of employment, be it in the community or in the workshop. ARC Industries has a very supportive work environment where participants are encouraged to develop a sense of achievement, self-assurance and self-reliance.

This web-page provides information on what ARC Industries offers to its participants in the various departments, the many skills learned at the various work areas, and the personal development opportunities offered through the Non-Vocational Opportunities Program.

The team of support workers at ARC Industries provide a positive approach to learning, developing, and training, which facilitates a fun, energetic, and effective workplace. This work environment is flexible and committed to meeting the participant’s needs and goals and our customer’s expectations.

This team and workforce proudly work together to produce quality work, celebrate each person’s achievements and contributions, and strive to be strong players in our community.

The people who work at ARC Industries work on tasks that include:

  • Food preparation and meal catering
  • Assembling and packaging of industrial components
  • Custodial services
  • Shrink wrapping
  • Collating, packing and mailing services
  • Woodworking

Many local businesses utilize the services of ARC Industries on a long-term and occasional basis and have benefited from the high quality work produced by this group of hardworking employees.

Work is carried out either at our location on Royal Rd or on site at your business location.
